Scotland County chooses CureMD to advance public health delivery

New York, NY. February 02, 2015

CureMD, the leading provider of Cloud EHR and Practice Management, recently completed another public health department implementation with its Raleigh-based implementation partner, Carolinas IT.

The implementation will enable Scotland County Health Department in coordinating care across the continuum to advance public health and maintain physician compensation amidst declining reimbursements due to limited federal funding. Scotland County selected CureMD because of superior cloud architecture capable of offering sliding fee schedule, automated rate adjustments, clinical data integration and patient risk stratification on top of enterprise-grade EHR, Practice Management and patient engagement.

“Scotland County provides quality care in a secure, compassionate and well-organized environment,” said Bilal Hashmat, CEO of CureMD. “CureMD will facilitate Scotland County with a comprehensive approach to patient care as well as deeper insight into its patient population to help the organization utilize actionable intelligence to improve outcomes.”

CureMD offers a comprehensive public health management platform that integrates analytics and care coordination. It gives public health departments an opportunity to improve outcomes with innovative delivery models through cloud technology. The system is designed to provide visibility into a patient’s care across all settings, engage patients and providers in preventive care, improve outcomes and reduce costs.
