MGMA Attendees Rave About CureMD Simplicity & Affordability
Denver, CO: Simplicity and affordability of medical technology was highlighted at this year’s Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) Conference in Denver, CO, with CureMD’s offerings receiving rave reviews.
Attendees from medical practices across the nation came seeking tools to respond to tightening economics of medical practice. They found solutions at a presentation by Kamal Hashmat the CEO and President of CureMD whose systems can easily increase Medicare reimbursements by 4%. “A surprising number of practices are leaving behind earned Medicare dollars under the mistaken belief that it is burdensome and not rewarding to pursue PQRI and e-Prescribing.” Said Mr. Hashmat, adding that CureMD’s automated PQRI Reporting and e-Prescribing delivers these increased payments for work that is already being done.
The Federal High Tech Stimulus bill was also a hot topic of discussion with Mr. Hashmat clearing much confusion about how to earn up wards of $44,000 in federal incentive money. “Practices that demonstrate meaningful use of certified systems can meet this requirement,” but he cautioned, “only few systems are certified, such as CureMD”
Presentations of CureMD’s systems capabilities and their simplicity of operation were well received.
Shawn Francis, of a leading New Jersey family practice said, “after seeing what CureMD has to offer and its lower cost, informed consumers will always prefer CureMD in comparison with big names selling old technology at inflated prices”. “Prior to CureMD presentation, it was my understanding from speaking with other vendors it is probably impossible to have an EMR with clear business objectives in mind. CureMD’s demo eliminated my reservations and has given a clear understanding on how to meet our needs” said Jeremy O’Sullivan, Production and Operations Manager for Scientiae located in Denver, Co. |
