The latest release will equip CureMD users with the industry’s most advanced clinical decision support delivered through a clean, crisp and easy to use interface. Over the past decade, our solutions have been in a constant state of evolution; what started as a basic EMR for information storage, has today become a system capable of assisting doctors in clinical decision making, recommending disease based care plans and providing health maintenance guidelines and alerts for preventing disease and enhancing care quality.
Clinical Decision Support System
CDSS ensure quality improvement across the continuum of care by offering provides a suite of rigorously developed evidence-based clinical content. It includes content for hundreds of diseases/conditions and is designed to support disease management, preventive care as well as health maintenance. It also helps physicians adhere to national performance measures that are part of pay-for-performance initiatives and quality reporting. Being a true customizable solution, CureMD CDSS allows for extended personalization based on each disease/patient/quality initiative.
Available tools include:
Clinical recommendations and article summaries of peer-reviewed research, guidelines and performance measures that support each recommendation. References for each article summary with links to PubMed abstracts and full-text articles. Forecasters that allow you to measure, identify, and prioritize opportunities for quality improvement. Disease based rules (reminders/alerts) to assist you in disease management.
PQRI Assistant
Integrated with CureMD, the PQRI assistant automatically analyze every patient encounter against PQRI criteria, evaluate if the visit qualifies for reporting under applicable measures and automatically recommend denominators for reporting. This technology virtually eliminates extra efforts to participate in the hundreds of PQRI programs nationwide. It also ensures higher reimbursement rates by payers based on improved quality of care delivered.
"Without this technology, physicians would be burdened by keeping track of PQRI data through older solutions," said Kamal Hashmat, CEO of CureMD Corporation. “few EMR vendors have built-in PQRI reporting capabilities. The bottom line is that PQRI is about survival. If you are not able to demonstrate commitment towards quality, you eventually will be left out of Medicare and other federal funding mechanisms."
Order Sets and Care Plan
CureMD’s evidence-based order sets are fully customizable to meet each providers unique practice style and preferences. With just a few clicks you can place orders for medications, procedures, labs, radiology, consultation, immunization and education that are clinically grouped based on diseases types and severity. Nearly 1,000 evidence-based order set templates addressing more than 78% of outpatient diagnosis-related groups are available.
The order sets streamline the delivery of standardized care for improved patient safety, outcomes, clinician performance and regulatory compliance, offering a depth and breadth of clinical information that is unmatched in the industry, including direct access to evidence-based topics for review and on the fly adjustments.
Immunization Information System
CureMD immunization information system (IIS) is integrated with CIR registry and is capable of recommending vaccination rules based on CDSS guidelines, as well as automatically adjusting vaccine schedules based on patient age, gender and immunization history.
A user friendly chart display immunizations in chronological order and includes an alerts section reminding all due and overdue dosages. A centralized immunization dashboard available to practice administrators enables one-click generation of immunization reminders in the form of sms-based alerts, email alerts and letters ready to be sent to the patients.
CureMD enhance information collaboration across the entire care continuum by securely integrating previously disjointed processes and synchronizing data in real-time. New features enhance patient safety through accuracy and precision in procedure administration, eliminating administrative and operational overheads, and ensuring continuity of care management and compliance. |
