CureMD Launches Right Remit at the MGMA 2007 Annual Conference

Philadelphia – Oct 31, 2007: Right Remit was formally launched at the MGMA 2007 conference in Philadelphia today after successful completion of beta testing by over 1100 physicians in New York city.  Attendees expressed great interest in how conveniently this new product can empower providers to automatically identify the reasons for underpayments and contest them with the payers.

This new software optimizes practice cash flow and reimbursements through automated denial management which compares promised vs actual payments, tracks discrepancies and performs the required follow up actions. Right-Remit provides several ways to compare ERA files with the provider Fee Schedules, adjusted by bundling logic and site of service criteria.  Right-Remit also generates appeal and overpayment letters based on denial reasons to further support timely payments.

Speaking at the occasion, Ajay Kharbanda, Practice Administrator at the Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital in Texas said, “Right Remit identifies and helps resolve reasons for underpayments, while empowering providers to contest the matter with insurers. Objectively challenging incorrect payments, it takes underpayments head on.”

“Right Remit accelerates the reimbursement process through an innovative approach that immediately impacts practice profitability. Our vision to eliminate underpayments and help providers get their fair share is achieved through Right Remit,” added Kamal Hashmat, CEO of CureMD Corporation.
