The Brooklyn Hospital Center Selects CureMD

Brooklyn, NY – The Brooklyn Hospital’s Hematology and Oncology department will be utilizing the benefits of a complete health information management system by using CureMD PRS and EHR Systems.

Dr. Patel and his team are very enthusiastic about using the integrated internet -based system, especially the advanced practice management features like integrated messaging, digital photo image, insurance card scans and data mining reports.

“We are excited to be the first department to implement an integrated medical records system and believe that this initiative will enhance our back office operations a great deal” said Dr. Patel, Departmental Chairman of the hospital.

The department will also be using the EDI system for claim creation, claim scrubbing, and auto payment posting for in-house billing. Nurses, support staff and the doctor’s entire team have already started using CureMobile for wireless information collaboration.

“We are writing prescriptions on the fly, even from home. This is a true technological leap.” Said Dr. Patel.
