CureMD Announces Major Product Enhancements and Tablet PC Compatibility

New York, NY - Microsoft partner CureMD has announced major product enhancements to its state-of-the-art, integrated Practice Resource System (PRS). New EMR features “AutoNote” and “AutoCalc” improve the ease of documentation, while automating routine medical calculations.

CureMD's AutoNote allows complete health record documentation of patient encounters.  Using customizable templates and simple point and click technology, clinicians are able to document vitals, review systems, physical exam and histories in addition to ordering medications, labs and procedures.

Clinicians also have the powerful option of automatically building detailed written notes based on EMR data in the traditional SOAP note format.  The AutoNote feature improves the quality and completeness of documentation, thereby improving compliance and reducing the risk of medical error.
Along with automated metric conversions, the new AutoCalc feature performs routine calculations, such as body mass index and ideal body weight, from weight and height entries.  AutoCalc also includes an E&M calculator to determine correct level of service based on documentation.

CureMD has also achieved a new level of integration for maximized efficiency through this version.  Enhancements in the EMR are designed to automatically record encounter details into the patient's electronic superbill, eliminating duplicate entry of information, limiting chances for lost data and transposition errors. The E&M calculator allows for a single click charge creation, allowing small practices to rapidly submit electronic claims. Built in clean claims engine and electronic remittance advice (ERA) provides for accurate primary and secondary billing and electronic payment posting. The tightly integrated workflow augments proactive billing life cycle administration helping accelerated revenues and returns.
