New York, NY - CureMD today announced a brand new electronic transactions solution that is designed to replace paper-based transactions by using electronic transactions over the Internet. This new solution offers HIPPA compliant bi-directional electronic transaction processing based on ANSI standards.
An industry standard encryption mechanism secures confidential patient and doctor information when communicated over the internet. CureMD has adopted American National Standards for the electronic transmission of health information for health insurance enrollment and eligibility, health insurance claims and equivalent information for encounters in managed care. The system is compliant with ANSI 837 (electronic claims submission), ANSI 835 (electronic remittance advice) and ANSI 270/271 (electronic eligibility).
CureMD enable healthcare providers to move paper based processes over to the electronic format to help conserve time and money while optimizing operational efficiency as electronic claims are paid much quicker than paper claims. This offering also address certain HIPAA mandates related to the secure, auditable exchange of Protected Health Information between trading partners.
“Going paperless is the hallmark of our mission towards delivering better care with ease. With these new electronic transactions, CureMD users will enjoy quicker claim turn around, instant rebilling and automated payment postings” Said Bilal Hashmat, VP of research and development at CureMD.
