e-Healthcare World Awards Pay Tribute to the Best in Online Healthcare Sector

New York, NY – The 2000 eHealthcare World Awards were presented in New York today, acknowledging the most influential achievements in the creation, development, and execution of online health websites.

Three winners – Gold, Silver and Bronze – were awarded for each category, and accepted their awards at a special ceremony at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers on Tuesday evening. Award entries were judged on criteria such as content & design, structure and functionality, navigation, interactivity, customer service and creative use of advertising and marketing.

“The eHealthcare World Awards acknowledge top companies and organizations that are effectively delivering accurate health information and patient care via the Internet,” said Julie Brown, the content chair for eHealthcare World at eMarket World. “Many of our industry’s leaders were on-hand to recognize the best of the best.”

Among the big winners at eHealthcare World was CureMD Corporation. The company was recognized in the following three categories: Best Healthcare Practice Management Company, Best Branding Campaign and Best Business-to-Business Healthcare Site.
