Position Overview
The CureMD Implementation Director leads cross-functional teams to evaluate, plan, implement, support and manage deployment of CureMD system in an ambulatory care setting.
Emphasis is on the successful delivery of a production ready system with trained end users, followed by continuous improvement and support.
CureMD desires a highly motivated, self-starter and independent person who loves to work with clients, is extremely well organized, can manage multiple projects simultaneously and is an excellent communicator / leader.
Responsibilities
- Service organization capacity building and re-design, SOP, KPI and communication control enhancement.
- Consulting, GAP analysis, implementation, training, support and maintenance organization oversight and development.
- Pre/post-sales consulting for large institutional buyers e.g: Regional Extension Centers, health networks, multi-specialty group practices etc.
- Change and project management leadership support to customer practices and administration for implementation/support.
- Coordination of resources (clinical, administrative, IT, and consulting) to support the project and ongoing quality oversight (upgrades and maintenance).
- Provide effective direction in identifying objectives, establishing plans/milestones and success criteria, and monitoring the project's progress.
- Travel to client sites and train end users (clinical and administrative staff) on the CureMD software and ancillary functionalities.
- Serve as the expert resource for assisting end users in identifying business requirements and planning system development needs.
- Managing risk mitigation and successfully delivering the desired results in tight deadlines.
- Research and implement detailed customer requirements, technical issues and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in software engineering, healthcare IT, medicine or business management,
- 5 + years’ experience in GAP analysis / practice readiness assessment, best practice recommendations, business process re-engineering, workflow optimization, implementation, data migration, training, support, maintenance, pre and post implementation benchmarking for medium to large enterprise installations.
- 3 + years hands on experience in change and project management.
- Exceptional presentation, proposal development, contract negotiation and full life cycle customer fulfillment experience.
- Deep domain knowledge of administrative, clinical, operational workflows for both in-patient and out-patient setting.
- Fundamental understanding of HIEs, REC’s, RHIOs’, ARRA, Meaningful Use, HIPAA.
- Deep workflow and operational expertise in primary and specialty care, charting, administration and patient services.
- Advanced hands on revenue cycle management experience for all medical.
- Experience with industry standard HIT systems like EPM, EMR, PMS, LIS, RIS, Patient Portals, health risk assessment, chronic disease management and surveillance systems etc.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading an organized large consulting, project and change management, implementation, client services, and support teams.
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in a service-oriented, consulting environment.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and team focused.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication and customer relationship skills .
- Works well under pressure with tight deadlines.
